Do I need my missionary to do anything?
Just one thing, once: they add your vault’s personal capture address to the weekly email they already send. Every email and photo after that is saved automatically, the day it arrives.
What if they’ve already been out a year?
Forwarding starts working the day you set it up, so everything from here on saves itself. For the months you have already had, you bring those in yourself — save the emails out of your inbox, choose them in the app, and each one lands on the timeline in its right place with its photos. We cannot reach into their account and pull a mission out, but an evening of it and the vault is caught up.
Who can see the emails?
Only the people you invite, each signing in with their own email rather than sharing yours. Nothing is public, nothing is shared, and we don’t read or sell any of it.
What happens after three years?
Nothing is ever deleted. A vault that lapses stops taking anything new and stays open to read, and you can either extend it or export the whole archive — every email, photo and journal entry — as one file you keep. Your emails are never held hostage.
